Arts & Crafts, Food, and Flea Market Vendors are Invited On behalf of the Villa Grove Masonic Lodge, we would like to invite you to be a part of the Villa Grove Ag-Days Festival, Your participation and display will make a worthwhile contribution. We have been working hard the past few years to make our celebration one of the areas best, and we hope you will come and join us.
Ag-Days will be held August 6 & 7, 2010. The activities planned for the two-day period are:
Carnival & Kiddie Tractor Pull
3 on 3 Basketball
Agricultural displays
Car & motorcycle show
Dunk Tank
Remote controlled airplane and car demos
Beer garden/dance
3 on 3 Basketball
Amateur talent contest
Petting Zoo
5K Run
... and anything else we can think of between now and then
Below is a list of guidelines that will help vendors throughout the festival activities.
BOOTH SPACE: Each booth space is 10' x 20'. Booths will be located along the street next to the curb. A committee member will direct you to your location. His decision will be final. Please do not infringe on another exhibitor's space
SEPARATE AREAS: There will be separate areas for the following displays: 1. Handmade or fashioned arts and crafts. 2. Flea market items (i.e., those items that are commercially prepared, novelties, etc.), food booths, and commercial displays.
SET-UP: Set-up must be completed from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm on Friday or by 9:00 am Saturday and no vehicles will be allowed in the vendor's area after this time. Vendor's setting up on Friday will be assigned the same space for Saturday and may leave their booth set-up overnight Friday. Please plan on arriving in sufficient time to unload your display and move your vehicle to a convenient location. Dismantling of your booth can take place any time after 4:00 pm Sunday.
ELECTRICITY: A limited number of 110-volt hook-ups are available at an additional cost of $10.00 per day. These are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We have no 220-volt hook-ups available.
LOCATION: The covered stage and audience tent will be in the NORTH block of Main Street that includes the community building and tennis court. Vendors will be placed along Main Street and the cross-streets South of the stage and tent. Our intentions are to locate the carnival on Main Street.
COSTS FOR THE ARTS AND CRAFTS or FLEA MARKET VENDORS: The cost for a single booth space is $30. Additional spaces may be purchased. A check or money order along with the attached registration form must be submitted by July 14. 2009 in order to guarantee a space. Spaces not purchased by this date will become available on a first come, first served basis. Electrical hook-ups are additional as described above. No refunds will be given due to weather conditions. First-time vendor fee is negotiable.
COSTS FOR FOOD & DRINK VENDORS: The cost for a single booth space is $50 per dav Additional spaces may be purchased Electrical hook-ups are additional as described above. No refunds will be given due to weather conditions. In order to prevent the problem of too many food vendors selling the same product, the committee will decide at some point in time to cease accepting food vendor's applications. The earliest applications will get the spots. COMPLIANCE: All merchandise displayed and/or sold must comply with local and State ordinances and regulations. The following items are banned from sales by vendors; silly string, stink bombs, and any other item deemed to be a nuisance and/or hazard. The decision of the committee member in charge of vendors will be final. No snowcone, cotton candy, rides or game vendors will be approved.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations will be accepted with full refund up to one week prior to the event with written notification by the vendor. It is our hope that you will be able to join us for the 32nd Annual Villa GroveAg-Days Festival.
